Canada's Free Trade Agreements

Since Brian Mulroney took office in 1984, Canada has negotiated many free trade agreements with countries and regions around the world, starting with the Canada-United States Free Trade Agreement in 1985, which led to the North American Free Trade Agreement that went into effect in 1994.
